Wonder Woman 1984 Review

 **SPOILER ALERT**

Wonder Woman 1984: 5 out of 5 stars

Like many, I'm sure, I went to go see Wonder Woman 1984 shortly after it came out in theaters. I have to say I was quite impressed. The actors and actresses in the movie all did a spectacular job. I appreciate that the creators gave Steve Trevor more to do in this movie than they did in the last one.

Gal Gadot was marvelous once again at displaying a wide range of emotions and I really felt her pain when she had to make the hardest decision I'm sure she has ever had to make. The other female character Barbara was very realistic, she was powerful and gutsy after making her wish and clearly very ambitious. Even before her wish, she was intelligent.

The main villain, Maxwell Lorenzano was beautifully betrayed and he showed that absolute power can corrupt absolutely. He also showed that a more human side and regret when he finally discovered the truth behind what he was doing, he was a character who I'm sure people could relate to in the capacity that he works hard, but does not have a lot to show for his efforts.

The plot was phenomenal and it explored what would happen if we all got what we wished for, and showed us that even the best-intentioned wishes could go terribly wrong. This movie showed us that we should not be so easily deceived by others.

As far as effects go, this movie really went all out on everything. Transitions and the illusions that the filmmakers chose to include were really great and they added to my personal overall enjoyment quite significantly.

TL:DR

> Wonderful cast, great plot, and solid effects. Overall a really good film.
